1. What gaming elements provide users the learning content and how? (Refer to the journal article page 4).
  • Text: Minecraft provide dialogue as well as bubbles to signify any steps or tips within the game.
  • Visual-graphic elements: The game is set-up in first person perspective and you are able to hunt and catch food. In addition, players have the signal of changes by introducing the shape and prompting players to move on to the next stage.
  • Audio elements: The music on the game give players the feeling of survival mode and provides you with key signals that take place in your development of the realm.
2. What is the goal of the game?
The Goal of the game is essentially to survive by collecting resources and building structures which will allow you to explore the world in the effort to survive and manage your hunger.

3. What are rules of playing this game?
The most important thing to keep in mind when playing minecraft is to survive. The player needs to find material which will be used to build structures and to find food to maintain their hunger. Essentially the most important rule of the game is to plan for the next day.

4. Does this game have any scenario design?
The game setup for mind craft is a fabricated design, the set-up is built for you to feel like you are in a different world that is survival of the fittest. The game is setup on a goal system in which, the player must complete an obstacle in order to advance. I also feel as though, the game has an embedded curriculum design, many of the players look up manuals and cheat sheets to discover ways to advance.
